Hello! My name is Sodapop. I'm 17 years old and don't care what gender you perceive me as online.

I was born here in America, and currently live in Chicago with my parents and younger brother. I'm enrolled in highschool and graduate next year in 2026. I'm not sure what my future holds for me, but since I definitely didn't peak in highschool, there's room for a better life once I get older, and I look forward to it everyday. I would like to major in morticianary science, however there's only one college in Illinois that has that field and it's five hours away from where I live... So if that doesn't work out, I would like to do nursing and/or journalism.

Music is a very integral part of my life as well. I could get into all the details but the story would be far too long. For now, I'll just tell you that I play percussion for my school's Wind Ensemble, amongst other instruments like guitar and piano. I have an embarrassingly large collection of CDs, and sometimes a vinyl or cassette will be found in my posession. Check out my lastfm to see what I'm listening to! I get into phases so sometimes I'll be playing the same songs/genre over and over again...
